Easy pizza sauce recipe
Quick and easy pizza sauce using fresh tomatoes.Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 to 15 minutes
Yield:
3/4 to 1 cup sauceIngredients:
- Tomatoes,pureed- 4 medium sized
- Garlic,crushed-1 tsp
- Vinegar-1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Sugar-1/2 tsp
- Dried oregano-1/2 tsp
- Olive oil-as required
- Salt -to taste
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan,add garlic and saute until raw smell leaves. Add tomato puree,vinegar,pepper powder,sugar,dried oregano and salt to taste.Mix well ,cook over medium high heat until the mixture boils. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until it is thick and spreadable. Allow it to cool completely and store in an airtight container.
